Premier League: Ighalo Shines in Watford’s Comeback Win Against West Ham

Watford striker Odion Ighalo looks to the sky after pulling a goal back with four minutes left on the clock during the first half

Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo was on the score sheet as Watford defeated West Ham United 4-2 at the Boleyn Ground in the Premier League on Saturday.

Ighalo’s goal came in the 41st minute as his shot was deflected into the back of the net to revive Watford’s comeback after West Ham had gone two goals ahead.

Further goals from Troy Deeney, Étienne Capoue, and José Holebas was enough to snatch the maximum points, in amazing fashion, silencing the vociferous home supporters who had come to cheer their darling Hammers to victory.

However, Ighalo was substituted in the 62nd minute for Isaac Success who made an appreciable impact with the few minutes he was on the pitch. It was Success’ second appearance in the colors of Watford this season.
