Nigeria Football Federation President, Amaju Pinnick has declared that the Super Eagles will do everything to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia after Friday’s draws which saw the team pitched against Cameroon, Algeria and Zambia.
Having participated in five World Cup tournaments, the Super Eagles face a tough task in qualifying for Russia but Pinnick has insisted that early preparation will be key to the team’s success.
Nigeria failed to qualify for next year’s Africa Cup of Nations after the team failed to top their group that consisted of Egypt, Tanzania and Chad.
However, Pinnick believes that attention should now be focused on 2018 World Cup where the team must qualify.
”The preparation has to start right now and we must make good use of every single day leading to the kick-off of the series,” Pinnick stated.
