Suicide Bomber Attacks Mosque in Maiduguri

Reports reaching have it that two suicide bombers suspected to be members of Boko Haram stormed a mosque in the Sulimanti ward of Maiduguri, Borno State of which one of them blew himself up, on Wednesday.

Although, there have been no reports of any lives lost or injured, it has been confirmed that the culprit’s body was scattered around the area and has been cordoned by the men of the Civilian JTF.

Meanwhile, one of the suicide bombers, who fled the scene without detonating his bomb, remains wanted by the JTF as they have commenced thorough searching of the whole area in a bid to sanitize the area.

A local, Mallam Ali Aji who also was in the mosque when the explosion happened, said: “immediately after the blast, worshipers had to desert the mosque for dear lives, before men of the Civilian JTF and military arrived to the scene and cordon off the whole area, as I am speaking to you now, the charred body of the suicide bomber is scattered all over the place”.
