Africa’s leading investor, Aliko Dangote has just made arrangements that could have him own the most stake in the Peugeot Automobile Company’s Nigerian branch (PAN). Dangote, in collaboration with with Bank of Industry (BoI) is set to own the company capable of producing up to 240 cars daily.
Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State who had a stake in the business made the public disclosure during the week while addressing people in a gathering organized by BoI, for a program named “Youths Entrepreneurship Support” (YES); which was designed provide youth with investment assistance, for those eligible, through the use of bank loans.
The governor made it known that Aliko Dangote with the corporation of the Kebbi and Kaduna State Government, made the submission of bids to acquire stake that was made available on sale by AMCON. Peugeot is expected to take on better form with this new acquire.
