Walk through history and pop culture with these shots. If we do not learn from our history we are doomed to repeat it.
The short photo film includes shots from inside and outside the California African-American Museum or CAAM.
Exhibit photos explore the African presence in Central America, the Revolution, the Indian-American War, pop culture juxtaposed with the African female figure as one artist reuses 5 hour energy bottles to make a statement and a traditional figurine showing the art and tradition of Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria can also be viewed.
The art and history demonstrates the true melding of African-American history with Africa.
Lastly, aviation is explored with some views just outside the museum.
