While hunting for evidence and Nigerian top officials who benefited from the arm deal’s continues, the vividness of charges brought against the former National Security Adviser (NSA); Col. Sambo Dasuki (rtd), only gets more detailed as developments continue to be brought to light.
The Economic and Financial Crime Commission, (EFCC), on Sunday, stormed the office of former Vice-President; Namadi Sambo over the suspicious move of vital documents from his residence to his office.
Related to this story was that Namadi Sambo’s aide, known as Daboh was arrested on the 11th of January by the EFCC for collecting N25 million from the National Publicity Secretary to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP); Olisah Metuh as part of money he got from the ex-NSA.
The exercise was carried out by the EFCC with the aim of extracting incriminating documents as it was discovered that Sambo moved many documents contained in traveling bags popularly known as “Ghana Must Go” from his residence in Abuja that is opposite the Defense College.
Some of the things taken away from his office after the raid were $50,000 dollars, which was found in his safe, a top branded wrist watch, a list of landed property and an assets declaration form.
