Washington Roberts, 2010 debut collection.

Following a debut collection in 2010, which featured draped satin dresses and a feminine twist to androgynous fashion, The graduate from Igbobi College Yaba has spent the past six year building a contemporary brand synonymous with Quality, fine tailoring and a well rounded understanding of dressing the woman form.

The Washington Roberts SS16 collection  is a fusion of well tailored silhouettes and a play on geometric shapes. A collection he named “KINTINKANTAN”…..

Model: Sumer Rayne

“This season, I explored the idea of graphic and geometric shapes through an African lens. Using the Adinkra Symbol, “KINTINKANTAN” which means PUFFED UP EXTRAVAGANCE as the focal point of the collection, allowed me to lavish the Washington Roberts woman in the splendor of Demi-Couture” Washington Roberts said.

wr7wr5The collection stands out as his most chic one so far, the aesthetic is on brand and the tailoring breathtaking. Looking forward to his next collection!
