Kakura community is located in the Kujama ward in Chikun local government area of Kaduna state northwest Nigeria and is about 16 kilometers from main Kaduna city. The settings in the village look like exactly what you might find in a typical village in other parts of Nigeria. There are about 1000 households in the area and the majority of the men are subsistence farmers while the women remain at home or sometimes help their husbands on the farm. Mohammad Ibrahim visited the community and captured how life is in such an environment.
