Man City is Going to Europe as Iheanacho Clinches a Goal

Super Eagles midfielder, Kelechi Iheanacho ended the season on a high as he scored a goal in Manchester City’s 1-1 draw against Swansea City at Liberty Stadium to guarantee the team’s Champions League spot next season.

Iheanacho who has been one of coach Manuel Pellegrini’s brightest stars this season, with his goals in the league, scored in the 5th minute to increase his goal tally to a 8:14 ratio in all competitions this season.

Despite receiving a yellow card in the 41st minute, the Nigerian international’s impact for the Citizens would be difficult to be ignored by incoming new coach, Pep Guardiola come next season.

He was however, substituted for Samir Nasri in the 72nd minute with some cheers coming from the visiting fans of Man City.
