Super Eagles midfielder, Kelechi Iheanacho continued his impressive goal scoring form as he scored a brace in Manchester City’s 4-2 loss to Southampton at the Saint Mary Stadium, in Sunday’s Premier League match.

The Nigerian international who has increased his goal tally to 13 in all competitions for the Citizens this season, has put more pressure on manager, Manuel Pellegrini ahead of Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League second leg clash against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium.

His performance on Sunday will likely cause Pellegrini a selection headache considering the fact that the usual regulars have been hit with goal drought.

Iheanacho scored in the 44th and 78th minutes respectively despite failing to save City from conceding defeat against Soton.
