Nigerian Troops Confirm the Death of “Albani of Monguno”

With the recent development on the clearing and recovering of northern Nigeria from the mess of the notorious Islāmic set called Boko Haram, one of the key members described as the kingpin of the group, Albani of Monguno has been trapped and killed according to Nigerian soldiers, on Tuesday.

The  Director of Publication for the Nigerian Army, Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman said, “a very  active member of the deadly Islāmic terrorists known as Albani of Monguno and seven other members were killed during the finishing operation devoted to the Boko Haram by the Nigerian Army in the Kukawa Local Government area of Borno State”.

According to the troops of 7 Brigade, 8 Task Force Division, Albani has been a major threat to Nigeria in terms of brutality and killing of innocent souls since the activities of the Boko Haram became very consistent in the area. However, Nigerian soldiers rejoiced for getting him down in this operation and also hope to capture more vital players among the group as the war is gradually becoming silent in the area.

Some of the items recovered include a vulcanized machine, motorcycles, two vehicles,  flags, AK-47’s, spiritual chewing sticks and other domestic facilities.
