The Super Eagles duo of John Obi Mikel and Kelechi Iheanacho were on winning sides as Chelsea dismantled Bournemouth 4-1 while Manchester City annihilated Stoke City 4-0 in Saturday’s Premier League matches.

Nigeria’s Iheanacho was the hero for the Citizens as he grabbed a brace in brilliant fashion; his first came in the 64th minute after Fernando and Sergio Agüero had put the team ahead.

In the 74th minute he netted his second goal to put the match beyond the reach of the away team (Stoke City) as Manchester City pocketed a comfortable three points ahead of their UEFA Champions League first leg clash against Real Madrid on Tuesday.
