Chelsea midfielder, John Obi Mikel could not prevent his team from going down as the Blues lost 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in Wednesday’s last 16 of the Champions League.

PSG took the game straight to the host as Adrien Rabiot scored the opener in the 16th before Diego Costa leveled the score with a beautiful placing of the ball in the 27th minute.

The goal gingered the home team as they pressed hard looking for the second goal which didn’t come to end the first half 1-1.

The second half saw PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic netting the crucial and winning goal in the 67th minute to end Chelsea’s Champions League ambition this season.

Mikel could only manage a yellow card in the 57th minute for an unnecessary foul.

The Paris team qualified 4-2 on aggregate against Chelsea.
