Ex Super Eagles defender and captain, Joseph Yobo has disclosed that former Everton manager, David Moyes would grace his centenary and testimonial match on Wednesday, May 25 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Yobo was a member of the victorious team that won the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa and has appeared 100 times for the senior national team since making his debut against Zambia in a 2002 FIFA World Cup qualifier, March 24, 2001.
During a press briefing held at the Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos on Tuesday, the former Fenerbahçe S.K. star revealed that Moyes would be around for his testimonial.
“My former manager, David Moyes will come for my testimonial. Remember I was his first signing (at Everton) and I feel very honored that he has agreed to attend the game in May,” Yobo told reporters at the gathering on Tuesday.
