Chairman of the Technical Committee of the Nigeria Football Federation, Chris Green has debunked alleged reports that the body are still weeping over the resignation of former Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh without concentrating on the AFCON qualifier against Egypt.

Oliseh resigned his position last week Friday after a bitter-sweet relationship with the football house which lasted for eight months. He was replaced by the trio of Samson Siasia, Salisu Yusuf and Emmanuel Amuneke.

Green revealed that the double header clash against Egypt on March 26th remains the priority of the NFF and not Oliseh.

“Our focus right now is on the immediate two AFCON matches against Egypt as Sunday Oliseh is no more a distraction,” Green told SuperSport.

“At least, the people in office can continue to take care of any issues concerning coach Sunday Oliseh. The technical committee has put the Oliseh case behind us” he added.

“I must tell you we are wiser right now and I believe we have learned our lesson from Oliseh’s tenure” he concluded.
