Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia has revealed that he won’t close the door on any players that merit being invited for the crucial 2017 African Cup of Nations double-header against the Pharaohs of Egypt on March 25th at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium.
Siasia spoke about some neglected players such as Victor Moses, Obafemi Martins, and John Obi Mikel who could play important roles for the team in their quest to qualifying for the AFCON, if they were able to come to an agreement with their respective international football clubs and play.
The former silver medal winning coach at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, believes that the team needs total concentration and the best legs to prosecute the game against Egypt.
“We can’t rule out anyone at the moment. The games against Egypt are crucial matches and we are keeping our focus. We need the support of everyone to succeed. This is a big task for us and we want to give our best like those players who are prepared to give 120 percent on the field for their country,” Siasia said.
