The Nigerian international was signed on loan during the last-minute January transfer window, to further increase the number of Nigerian players playing in the Barclay’s Premier League.
Both players were part of the Super Eagles squad that won the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa and Moses believes that Emenike’s addition to the team will surely pay off.
“I firmly believe he will be good in the Premier League and for West Ham as well. Having a player such as him up front gives you that strength,” said Victor Moses, who combined beautifully with Emenike for Nigeria to win a third AFCON title three years ago.
“He’s always played up front for the Super Eagles and hopefully he will come here and show everyone what he can do. “His strengths? He’s quick and strong at the same time”.
“With the Super Eagles we call him ‘The Big Man’. Once he has the ball he has the strength to go through players and he makes sure he wins his battles,” Moses added.
