Female Footballer Oshoala will Not Be Joining Arsenal Ladies Squad

oshoalaSuper Falcons striker and current African player of the Year; Asisat Oshoala has revealed that she still remains a Liverpool player despite reports that she had opted to join Arsenal ladies on loan.

The 21-year-old Oshoala joined Liverpool ladies last year after a brilliant showing at the U-20 FIFA Women’s World Cup where she was amongst the top scorers and played a key role at the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Reports first revealed that the Liverpool Ladies had “reluctantly accepted” a transfer bid for the Nigerian international from fellow Women’s Super League side, Arsenal Ladies.

However, having emerged the first winner of the BBC Women Footballer of the Year in 2015, Oshoala insisted that she’s still a player for Liverpool.

“For now I don’t want to speak on the issue at all, it’s a confidential issue either Arsenal or Liverpool I don’t want to talk about any team for now, but for me I still remain a Liverpool player,” Oshoala said.
