#VanGaalmustGO: Stoke City Compoud Man United’s Woes

manchester_united_ILouis Van Gaal’s hope of remaining as Manchester United manager was further compounded as Stoke City defeated the Red Devils 2-0 at the Britannia Stadium in the early kick-off game, on Saturday.

Stoke found themselves in the lead at the 19 minute mark when Glen Johnson set up Bojan Krkic to slot it in at home and at close range following a poor header from Depay towards David De Gea.

They doubled their advantage soon afterwards when the ball fell to Marko Arnautovic on the edge of the area following a free kick and he fired a powerful shot beyond De Gea’s reach. It might have been 3 – 0 soon afterwards, but Arnautovic fired wide with only the keeper to beat.

Man United will face Chelsea on Monday at Old Trafford, in what is expected to be a mouth-watering encounter.
