Nigeria Made History: Okagbare Beats Usain Bolt’s Record

blessing_okagbareIn a recent development to a country called ” good people, great nation”, Blessing Okagbare has reportedly beat the world’s best sprinter ever; Usain Bolt to win the Guinness world record.

Okagbare who appeared in thirty-eight multiple sport events, such as the 100 and 200 meter sprints, as well as the long jump with outstanding results is a head above other world athletes at the moment.

Her steller performance started since she began representing the great nation of Nigeria in the Diamond League on July 3, 2010, September 5, 2015,  and at other valuable meetings to date.

The Diamond League started in the year 1998 with Usain Bolt having the award for the years 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013. However, Blessing Okagbare proved Nigeria as the giant of Africa by holding the best record ever after finishing the women’s 100m common wealth game at 10.85 seconds, the shortest time ever recorded.

Nigerians are proud of Okagbare as one of the world’s most responsible athletes who has dignity, passion and strong family values in-spite of fame.
